We are pleased to announce our upcoming event “Workshop to Commemorate 50 Years of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation” entitled “Shaping Future Vision of ASEAN-Japan Friendship through Science, Technology and Innovation Coordinators towards 2050” which will take place on 12th, May 2023 at Centara Grand at Central Ladprao, Bangkok, Thailand.

This event is an opportunity to shape the future vision of STIcoordination in ASEAN and Japan towards 2050, after looking back at our achievements for the past 25 years and envisioning 25 years ahead. The workshop will include presentations from distinguished speakers who will share their insights and experiences on the ASEAN-Japan partnerships.

JASTIP members participated in the series of meetings to commemorate 50^th year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation from 10^th and 12^th May 2023 in Bangkok organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Thailand. The event is in conjunction with expert group meeting on ASEAN Talent Mobility, and JASITP delegates from Japan and ASEAN partner institutes (about 45 people in total from all ASEAN member states) first discussed how to develop mobility program further. JASTIP workshop on 12^th May welcomed distinguished speakers and more general participants (onsite about 60, online 60) to share our activities to facilitate Science, Technology and Innovation. There was an active discussion to update our progress during/after the pandemic.
