“WINDOW TO ASEAN: INTERNATIONAL AND INNOVATIVE”
On 8th Sept. Kyoto – ASEAN Forum 2016 was great success, over 250 participants attended the forum. This forum brought together researchers, young researchers and young students which the aim to improve capabilities on his/her researches, through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and wisdom.
The focus on the presentation for the first day was specific to promote groundbreaking research that will contribute to the growth of the ASEAN region and benefit the international community as a whole.
In this regards, The symposium was received the honor of having Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Ex-Prime Minister of Malaysia, and also distinguished guests and speakers;
Y.B. Mr. Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar ,Minister of Youth and Sports, Malaysia,
Datuk Dr. Abu Bakar Mohammad Diah, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Malaysia,
H.E. Dr. Makio Miyagawa Japanese Ambassador, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia,
Dr. Haruo Takeda, Corporate Chief Engineer, Research and Development Group, Hitachi, Ltd.,
and Dr. Juichi Yamagiwa President, Kyoto University.
It was an opportunity for participants to collaborate and contribute to the strength point on their researches and to increase their profile and make a worthwhile and interesting contribution to the community.
