JASTIP will hold two symposia in Jakarta on 10-11 June.

10 June: JASTIP Bioresources and Biodiversity Joint Laboratory Kick-off Symposium

    ”Collaborative Bioresources and Biodiversity Studies for the ASEAN Region “

JASTIP Joint Laboratory at LIPI, Indonesia, was set up to promote the multilateral collaboration among ASEAN countries and Japan in bioresources and biodiversity studies. In the symposium, the bilateral collaborative studies between Kyoto University, Research Center for Biomaterials, and Research Center for Biology, LIPI, will be introduced and the potentiality of multilateral scientific and technological collaboration among ASEAN and Japan using the platform will be discussed.
Prospective guest speakers are from, National Science Technology Development Agency, Thailand, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Kagoshima University and Hokkaido University.
