The Second Japan-ASEAN Science and Technology Innovation Platform (JASTIP) Symposium is to be held at Jakarta Indonesia focusing on the bioresources and biodiversity studies in ASEAN region. The symposium is the kick-off symposium of JASTIP Joint Laboratory set up at LIPI and aiming to disseminate the function and activities of JASTIP and the Joint Laboratory in various stake holders and to encourage the multilateral collaboration among the ASEAN countries and Japan. The second symposium is followed the First JASTIP Symposium held at Kyoto University in December 2015, where the officials and researchers gathered and discussed on the multilateral collaboration in JASTIP.
