During 27 February – 2 March 2017, JASTIP displayed our activities poster and ran a booth as a JST program with SATREPS, e-ASIA and SAKURA science at “International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Bioeconomy 2017” Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok, Thailand.

This Conference is organized by National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Plant Breeding and Crop Multiplication Association of Thailand, Fund for Sustainable Education (FUSE), SVITA Foundation, Thai Seed Trade Association, Biotechnology Alliance Association, and Seed Association of Thailand.

JASTIP sat up our booth next to Green innovative biotechnology Co.,Ltd which is one of bio venture company in NSTDA Innovation cluster 2 building. JASTIP also have Lab in NSTDA. Green innovative biotechnology Co.,Ltd., has been a research associate with academic luminaries. To help develop a process for further agriculture products (supplement for plants and animals) and Multimineral Chelated Mineral and jointly tested products that are effective. JASTIP (include JST) and Green innovative biotechnology Co.,Ltd., start to discuss about future collaboration on this occasion.

On this special occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously attended the opening ceremony on 27 February and visit several booths of exhibition. It’s an honor, Her Royal Highness visited and asked president of Green innovative biotechnology Co.,Ltd., Mr. Prasert about their research results and products.

It was great opportunity to start an informal exchange for removing obstacles between Academia and industries and economic world.
